The Billy Wright Inquiry – Second Preliminary Hearing

Following the decision by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, The Rt Hon Peter Hain MP, to convert the Billy Wright Inquiry to an Inquiry under the Inquiries Act 2005, the Chairman of the Inquiry, Lord MacLean, will hold a second Preliminary Hearing on Tuesday 13th December at 10.30am at the Europa Hotel, Great Victoria Street, Belfast to which everyone is welcome.

At the meeting the Inquiry Chairman will set out what work the Inquiry has been undertaking, advise those present of progress to date and explain what further work is necessary before hearings commence.

Arrangements should be made with the Secretary to the Inquiry for the filming and broadcasting of the Chairman’s statement at the meeting.
